In 2010 my husband and I welcomed our first son into our world. Like all new moms I had the great idea that I could do it all! Travel for weddings, shoot portraits and care for a newborn. And like all new moms I found out quickly that it was nearly impossible to do everything so I made the decision to step back from portraits and turn the focus of my business to weddings only. During my two year break from portraits I began to refine my ability recognize and photograph emotions and moments within relationships and as a result that skill has become the largest part of my wedding photography style. Now that the boys are moving past the baby stage this break is coming to an end and I am ready to begin applying that ability and style to portraits. As a mom of two, I'm learning that the years fly by too quickly and the people I love the most are changing before my eyes. The foundation of my love for photography has always been the desire to capture a moment, culture, time and place that can only be recorded with beautiful timeless images.
I work with my clients to create wall art and small prints that best suit their life and style. In order to give my clients exactly what they need we work together to create the perfect shoot and meet after the shoot for an ordering session. I have found that if I can't help my clients choose the right images and sizes for their homes they aren't quite sure what to do with their prints. My goal is to give you images that you will be able to have for a lifetime and pass on to the next generation to also hang on their walls.
